Skid plates and bed extender installed, mud flaps, rock sliders and tires are next up this month. Really loving this truck so far but man the mods are truly endless. I am starting with protection type stuff first and then will move onto lighting I am thinking. Plan on keeping the bed pretty stock, the extender pops out easy enough.

Think youre splitting hairs & weight of the control arm difference really isnt going to matter much....

Gotcha. So my post about shameless hyperlinks taking people offsite was definitely over the target.

Huh? Who's talking about weight? Lol

I'm talking about the rear spring height difference between the TRD pro rear spring vs the OR/Sport rear spring.

    Sorry!!!
I thought it said weight, not height, my bad....
Thought that was an over the top question but you brought to my attention, I mis-read...
    Carry on..

Wtf actually, I must be seeing things...
Maybe I was tired, I swear you wanted to know the weight difference of the aluminum UCA vs stock...
Brains playing mind tricks on me...
Maybe cuz I saw picture of billet UCAS...

Regardless, I was way off in left field on what I thought I read.:facepalm:

Not listed as a site vendor, posting as a vendor....... I'm also confused. I prefer these things to be transparent but I don't write the rules. I actually can't find any site policy on vendors behavior, anyone got a link?

If you're serious about under carriage protection, may want to look into RCI for their shock, trailing arm and fuel tank skids. The lower shock mount and trailing arms hang low, I banged them up on a trail. I also added lower control arm skids for good measure. IMG_3379.jpg All protected now...

Did they fit correctly or did you have to modify them to work?

One of the first mods should be lights on the roof! If you're off-road at night, you'll be super grateful to have above and below your line of sight. Shadows form the headlights throw you off big time! I prefer the roof racks with integrated lightbars. Next, get ditch lights. You can thank me later :101010:

Nope, not me. Why would anyone care about the weight of upper control arms? I already bought the TRD Pro suspension, just getting all my ducks inline before I install it.

Everything fit perfectly. Only issue was the threaded hole on driver side frame for the front lower link had some weld slag obstructing the threads. Thread chaser fixed that. This was a Toyota issue and not RCI.

I'm leaning towards 'understatement' after seeing your photos! :)
