Finger is getting there- probably 90% now. Actually started working on trucks again last week so for the most part getting back into the swing of things. The job change really did impact my free time though. Totally worth it but I don’t have a lot of time to noodle in the shop like I used to.

Welp. Listed my BMW on Thursday for private sale at $6500 just to see if it would get any interest, fully expecting it not to. Sold it last night to someone for $5700, not bad at all in my opinion.

Unfortunately the Ducati dealer sold the V2 I was planning to go get today

Lol and still wasn’t quick enough

honestly stunned how much interest there was in it. Figured everyone would pass on it due to miles. Mostly had offers between $5500-$6k.

I've had to relist vehicles because of way too much interest, I'll 100% raise the price if I get 100 messages in one hour.

Moving forward with the tdub purchase. Just need to pickup the purchase agreement for the credit union and the insurance company. I'm going to finance a couple grand of the purchase price until I retire and then pay it off with my 401k money.
Purchase price was $5500 old. Bike has been hard to find around here.

My 18 KTM 1290 SAR with skids and Crash bars, no luggage was 582lbs  advertised at 535. Don't remember how much gas was in it. Removed the passenger pegs and put a 8lb lighter Wings exhaust on it this week so guessing maybe 10 lbs lighter. Shes a beast but oh that acceleration!!:burnrubber::bikewheelie:

I did my MSF class day on a TW, fun little thing. 200 was just enough to get out of its own way when it needed to, and the big wheels made it silly stable and approachable. That'll be fun for years on or off road.

She will be up for sale in July! I'm going to ride the TAT and then put her up for sale more than likely. Kalispell MT. 40 minutes to Glacier National Park.

Tw200 I believe is the only motorcycle to make to both the north and south poles.

Yeah the TDUBS are almost cultish. I have wanted one for a long time. Tons of aftermarket support for them too. I looked for a used one for a long time, people just don't sell them or very rarely do. It's both a good beginner bike, an end bike, and everything in between. For me I just want something to putz around on and ride the trail system with. My go fast days are way behind me. I'm not Joe motocrosser or super Enduro rider. I just like to ride, and the lightweight, big tires, and low seat height make it very approachable and appealing to me. It's just so simple without all kinds of tech and bells and whistles. Cheap to operate and maintain. I think it scores high on the giggle factor.:D

We've got a bunch for sale here, but they definitely hold their value pretty well

I considered it but considering the valve service and rear tire were coming due, I would have felt bad charging any more.

lol i guarentee im over 600lbs on the super tenere. Still love the bike tho.

When you mentioned the price i was like gdamn thats expensive, then went and looked locally to me and you arent joking, not many for sale and the ones that are are either clapped out or damn near the cost of a new one.

Great platform, very similar to my XT225 that I ride around town, absolutely bulletproof fun machine for sure.

Yeah there's nothing used here, closest one I found that was decent was $3200 and it was 400 miles away. Would have cost me probably 300 in fuel for the F250 to go pick it up. So for a grand more I get brand new with a warranty.

Wow, those bikes must be very popular on the west coast. Nothing like that here in Michigan

Spent most of today working on bikes. Honda CB400F needed new tires and tube's. Realized the pair on it were from 2012. Not a lot of miles on them but due for replacement. Rear went well enough but still some struggle. Balanced with only 1/2 ounce. Front made me work but finally got it mounted. Air up and hear air hissing. Shit! Guess I pinched or cut the tube. Probably just drop it off Monday at a small local shop and let him put a tube in and balnce it now. Put new LED headlight bulbs in '14 FJR. One started flickering recently and had gone dim, almost out. FJR is a bitch to change headlight bulbs! At least I got one bike completed.
