Did something better - you should be getting two emails!

One is giving you access to some of my goodies, second is access to the folder with the STL files for the fillers.

If possible, two of each sized to accept a 1/2" ID tube over it. Reason for two is because I'm unsure if only the short will fit or the long one.

I'm not sure what the print settings or scaling needs to be to make the barb and tube a tight fit, so that one I'll leave up to you.

I will run a couple of test prints, I think I have some 1/2" plastic tube laying around.

I think many LTLs run Fri. night and Sun. night. You most likely won't see movement Sat. or Sun. unless they are really busy and need to clear lanes.

    Gotcha, makes sense.

Exactly why the gal said I'll see it most likely middle of the week or end of the week even though LV is only 5.5hrs away :bananadead:

Fortunately the terminal where it will be heading to is only 15mins from my house.

I must've missed that. If things fall through with @Pyrotech, let me know, I can take a shot.

    No worries, appreciate it!

However, if you want access to the STL water filler files I can add you too.

Well the first test came out, well... ugly. However the barb end was pretty damn close to 1/2"

I am reprinting it in a different orientation, this will get rid of most of the supports. hopefully this, along with a couple other tweaks to the settings clean up the surface finish.

    **Update**

The second print turned out much better overall.

Awesome. I have my son working through the 3D printing stuff. This is really cool to see how simply manipulating orientation can improve print quality.

also support settings, the minimal number with the thinnest layer possible touching the final part seems to leave the best finish in my experience.

    @Kwikvette

I still need to clean up the base where the support material was, but they are all printed, and they fit snugly into the tube I had used for testing. They are printed in ABS with a 75% infill so nearly solid since the walls are thin.

Being ABS if they break, Acetone will act as solvent weld.

For reference, this is the tube I had on had for testing.

    Hellllll yeah!

I'm actually using Everlast tubing as well, but without the reinforced walls so that's perfect!

Looks good! I was surprised to see you used supports under them, isn't that face flat?

It is mostly. But with the orientation it needed a bit of a raft to keep it steady. And the longer version requires supports. I made an abs slurry to "paint on" to help keep the walls from gwtting to thin when i sand out the support lines.

3D prints are cool. Dimpled 18-20 ga stainless no problem. Just PLA 100% infill. Took 1.5 hrs to print.

There's a set that's being passed around on the Langmuir forum.

I was on the list though it never made it to me, think they got lost after switching hands over a hundred times.
