On Thursday it was 86° and high humidity, I had to flick on the AC. It ran for 2.5 hrs before cooling the house down to 75°. On Thursday when I drove the Taco to work there was nothing wrong with it. I drove the T4R on Friday, so on Sat morning I took the Taco to the model train show. As soon as I got onto the road from the development, I noticed the massive crack that starts in the lower right corner and goes to about the rear view mirror. :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

ugh. When it rains , it pours, as the old saying goes. I don't want to make an insurance claim because they WILL use that as an excuse to raise the rates, but I can't cover this out of pocket right now.

Has anyone had good luck with aftermarket glass ( beside safelite )?

Yes I used a privately owned glass company. Think it was $275 back in 2023. It’s held up fine.
