Dummy rounds?!?!

    Were they the rounds they tested to see if the gun was firing correctly? Or actual dummy rounds?

    When you target practice have a buddy load your magazine with a couple of the dummy rounds in random places. It will teach you not to anticipate the shot. Also teaches you recovery drills.

    Just enough, and never enough
    The magpul dummy rounds are action proving rounds which are used to test your action not really the best for dry fire practice. A zooms are ok but they get chewed up pretty good and shed metal shavings, they are good because of the weight so you can see if your extractor is working correctly. Other than that I would look for the cheaper sprung snap caps because they seem to handle abuse better just my experience.
