Fender aprons. The sheet metal behind your fenders. Guess you could call them inner fenders too

Gotcha. My tires clear the inner fenders at full bump. My front tires don't rub anywhere in the front end

    Yes

And Tandem Offroad in Texas has lockers and stuff for them, so they have at least some aftermarket support.

Interesting, I have been talking with their head sales person and he mentioned that the website needed some work and it looks like they have recently. But then again the Tacoma option still not mentioned other than in the Defense section. And yes it is available. Mine should be ready in about a week. 4" wider than stock.

sway me, 35s or 37s. I’m on JDs 4 over LT kit with a lift spindle and fiberglass fenders. what is going to go into getting either size to fit with being LT and lift spindle? anyone regret going 37 and rather have gone 35? or vice versa? it’s a daily, but it gets used in the desert.

Strictly desert and daily Tacoma build, 35s get the job done with less broken stuff. Also power is way more important in the desert than going up to 37s and losing power, imo

Yep, I’m only even remotely considering 37s because I do a lot in the rocks and bigger tires make for smaller rocks but 35’s haven’t prevented me from anything I’ve wanted to do.

what realistically, needs to get done if i want to properly be able to fit 35s. there’s not much i can find online. most people trying to fit them are on stock length. should i have no problem and they will just go on? or will some tubbing need to get done.

Interesting. It would have been a bit over a year, maybe even a year and a half ago I called about it. It's a cool product. Kind of annoyed though, now that I've designed around the spidertrax front end, but this is just over an inch narrower flange to flange. Not sure how much difference that would make in the grand scheme of things. How much is their setup? If it's a couple grand cheaper, might be worth redoing the design a bit.

Usually either tubbing or the JD inner fenders, but Ive never done anything with lift spindles so not sure how that effects things as far as expected clearancing required.

Gotcha. Eventually i’ll be doing JDs lower pivot kit to help strengthen and help with clearance. but because i need new tires, and need to reseal my diff, my thought is might as well regear and jump to 35s. Hopefully with the lift spindle the work to clear them is minimal.

Different kit and probably different wheels,
But I have lift spindles and 3.5” kit along with zero offset wheels.
I haven’t had to clearance anything.
No can mount chop or any firewall.

only way to know is to test fit and cycle!

I got my Tundra booster and cylinder swapped and the abs module eliminated. I just added two 'T''s like you said. On initial test drive the front tires locked up on the pavement. yay! In the dirt I could mash the brakes and finally get the rear to lock up. So my thought is I need more rear brake. A proportioning valve will allow you to reduce pressure to the axle it's installed on. So I'm thinking I want it on the front to back it off a hair to give the rear a bit more braking. I'm open to discussion on why this wouldn't work.

I never thought of that. I 100% should have done that. This would also only have 1 flex line to the axle. Next go around I'm changing my set up.

I apologize I confused the issue and my brain switched to thinking of the solid rear axle I am waiting on. Something they used to have on their website. Then they changed their website a few years ago and it was no longer listed. But it still is. Then I see they made changes recently, but it is still not listed. When I ordered it Dan the salesman said it is basically a custom order now. But it was still very reasonably priced compared to other options. One of the reasons I went with a Dana 60 style is no one offers a e-locker for a 9". But then again this may still be better because it is a high pinion.
