The green plants and trees I like, the bugs not so much.
We got nothing but dirt, sand, and cactus out west but we ain't got no stinkin bugs.
In the early morning and evening you can literally open the doors at the house wide open - nothing to worry about
except the occasional rattler. It's a decent trade-off.

    Tucson area late spring.

It’s after midnight for pretty much everyone but me and anyone in Hawaii. This saves me from getting yelled at when I’m trying to be a lazy turd and sleep in tomorrow and it’s already the afternoon for everyone else before I’m on the forum.

@tclavell for the winner this week. What’s the story (if there is one) behind the fly tattoo?

Was hearing a loud squawking out back and spied these peach-faced-love-birds snacking on the neighbors palm trees.
Quickly grabbed the camera and snapped these. Shade conditions weren't the best.

Story is a pet-store in Tempe went up in flames and the fire-folks just started releasing all the critters. This specie made
their way into the surrounding areas and have been thriving for some 20+ years. They are loud and proud and you
can hear them from quite a distance.
