Learned my lesson with using non elastic tow straps, bent the bumper even more downwards. It was never perfect before but I say it moved a decent bit.

How would you bend this upwards?

Loosen the bolts and lift up with a jack, then tighten the bolts back down?

Personally, I’d just leave it. Doesn’t look bad and hey… road warrior damage - right?

Yeah if the solution turns out to be a pain in the ass I'll leave it.

My ARB had sustained an impact from a stump which gave it a little dent. Not really a big deal but the alignment on an edge (interior side close to where it mounts to the frame) was a bit off. I took a mini sledge and gave it a couple of solid whacks and it was good to go. Not saying that will work for you but maybe experiment a little. :notsure:

I've tried using a full size sledgehammer to it with ratchet straps holding the bed onto the bumper and nothing would budge. My next step is wrapping a chain around the bumper and using a hi lift. Thoughts on that?

I need a way to like use a jack directly onto the bumper while having enough force to make the truck not rise with the jack.

Reach out to a fabricator/welder. I'm thinking if you are that set on fixing it, your best bet is to remove the bumper and take it into a shop.

Won't be doing that. This isnt too much of a big deal but if something can be fixed ill always give it an attempt. I appreciate all the help tho. Tomorrow ill try banging the bumper more and using my jack

The problem is going to be that the steel will spring back... you will have to over bend it to get it to spring back to where you want it. Off the top of my head I am thinking loosen the bed bolts and get the bed up 5 or 6 inches in the back, wrap a chain underneath a large tonnage floor jack and put a 4X4 or some 1/4 wall rectangular tube on the lifting pad and start jacking and see if you can move it. The scary, really really scary thing is that if the lifting bar/post slips out it will be a missle so some sort of containment will be necessary.

I wonder if a body shop would have a way to pull it back into place with a frame machine?

I posted this on a fabrication forum and someone recommended me to heat the metal up with a torch and beat it to the place I want it to go. Thoughts on this?

Harbor Freight sells 4 ton and 10 ton hydraulic presses in both their Pittsburgh and Daytona line. You could try one of them.

I know that’s an aftermarket bumper, but the OEM ones come off with a couple bolts if that one is similar you could buy a new one if it isn’t crazy expensive

Wouldn't it just lift the truck up instead of pushing the bumper? My truck weighs 4400 lbs so relatively light

Not sure it could but it’s going to depend on the the strength of all the materials holding the bumper to the vehicle. I know for OEM bumpers can easily pull the bumper off and try to bend each individual part (mounting brackets, etc) back into place. Maybe not with that pump but with a hammer
