I am someone who thinks your eyes should be on the road while driving not on a huge infotainment center. Thats who I am!!!!

It just isn't cell phones causing accidents.

    You do you, Sir!

Just chiming in as the OP, but you couldn't be more wrong about what you're saying. I took a 300 mile road trip yesterday from Orange County, CA to downtown San Diego, CA. I used Google maps up on the 14.6" screen using CarPlay (so no video access) - driving in any downtown, especially one you haven't driven in, can be nerve racking. The larger screen provided a much better "glance at" feature than a normal 7" OEM screen. I was able to quickly glance and keep driving to our destinations. So, your hypothesis on why you think it's bad is false. I know you're old enough to remember folded maps and Thomas guides, so you should know that digital maps with live traffic is much better than anything that happened in the 70's and 80's.

@RichMTB01 Any chance you can take a picture of the whole front dash from the back seat? Kind of want to see how it all sits together (returning to the vent concerns haha)

Thank you! Vents stick out a little more than I’d like. With that said, i might take the plunge on it in a couple of months. That screen is huge and looks crisp.

I did an evening road trip the other night to a downtown area. Lot's of traffic, one way roads, etc. It was great having Google Maps up and big.

    Hey,

I ordered a C12 off Amazon and after watching your video I noticed my c12 didn’t have the power wire for the rear view camera in the unit like yours, and I can’t find where to plug the power wire from the rear view camera harness in to get it power. So I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the rear view camera to work. I also can’t get my steering wheel controls to work. I have a 2019 Tacoma.

Sorry if it’s already been covered.

    only cons:
    - Take time to learn use it at all.
    - the AC control aplication on the screen at this time does not work.
    - I haven't found a way to make it not so bright at night (only with the screen off).
    - No 360 cameras ( I'm working on finding a compatible kit).

waiting for this camera https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B0D5DG3ZSS?ref=emc_p_m_5_i_atc to see if have more resolution compared to the original camera..

Why is that camera $800? Or is that in pesos?

Does your head unit show on incoming calls, name and number? My friends unit only shows number. Curious if it's a settings fix.
