What's a fair price?

I'm on my way tomorrow to put new wheels and tires on my Tacoma. What would be a fair price to sell my 20022 SR5 wheels and tires (w/ less than 11K) for?

 

somewhere between 500-1k would be my take.

Steel or alloy?

TPMS in place or no?

Tire brand, size and age (date is on sidewall)

 

2022 SR5 Alloy wheels, complete with TPMS sensors and 247/75r16 Toyo A31 Open Country tires with less than 11K on them.

 

They should fit both 2nd and 3rd gen. so your market is a bit broader. CList or FB marketplace.

Tires are probably only desirable for a primarily pavement vehicle, and for someone who has pretty much worn out tires already. Most of the value is in the wheels/TPMS IMHO.

Find Toyota's price on the wheels and start at 75% of that for the whole shebang?

 

I'd pay 600 and be fine with that if I needed tires, I'd be much happier paying 400. Things I'd ask myself, How much would the used tire place down the road give me for them? What would Texas truck tire list them for? Something in between would probably be a reasonable asking price.

 

Right now I have them on CL for $500

 

Ask $500, take $400 call it a win.
