Who’s to say the rear frame end isn’t bent where the bumper is welded on? If the bumper that thick can bend, the frame is weaker, being a c-channel, twisting it is easier than twisting a boxed/enclosed square bumper IMO.

Yeah I’d check that frame im currently in the same dilemma with mine. Be warned insurance might total it with a bent frame

Ill see how it goes after work today. I know the hope bumper is out of whack but atm Im only trying to bend the corner section up. Ill try using straps and a hi lift today. If im still screwing with it in weeks ill heat it up to make it easier

OOF! You see? There's the rub - literally.

You are going to have to over bend it upwards to get it to "spring back" down into the shape you want. That means it will be getting into the sheet metal.

Option 1 - Wheel it like it is.
Option 2 - Cut it off, fix it, weld it back on.
Option 3 - Remove the bed, fix it, put the bed back on.

Personally? I'm a big Option1 guy, myself. But I get it.

Only if you can just barely heat it to the point that you can bend it because heating too much changes the temper / strength of the steel. And we already know it can be bent with a tow strap.

I can't tell. What do you think?

Also the bumper is in fact bolted on. Im not sure why I thought it was welded...

With my new found stupidity and knowledge I'm going to see if I can loosen the bolts and then beat it up. Second stage after that is to take off the bumper completely and use a press. I've always wanted to repaint it

Before you start heating and forcing the metal to reformed, try loosening the bolts and adjusting it. You probably yanked it hard enough to throw it off alignment because most holes are larger than the actual bolt. That probably cause the entire bumper to shift from force. May not be bent as you stated.

Yep, that's my new plan. I'm not sure why I thought it was welded. I'm a carpenter by trade so all I really do is hit things with hammers so idk...

This fix just got 10x Easier.

Option 1 - See if you can loosen the bolts and adjust (hight probability!).
Option 2 - Pull it off and see if you can locate where it bent at and then only work on that section.

Yep, im glad lol. Also you seem knowledgeable about this stuff.

I messaged a parts/custom off road shop "friend" of mine and asked how'd he bend it. I told him about my idea of using a hi lift, ratchet straps, and basically pushing up with the jack and beating tf out of it.

He responded with "I wouldn't" and I asked why and then he proceeded to say "find out" any clue on what he means or is warning about?

For starters.... I'm Just Forest Gump 2.0. Don't mistake my good luck in life for intelligence.
I think your friend was hinting at the dangers if something slipped and you suddenly dropped the truck or got into the sheet metal.

If adjusting the bolts doesn't work and it really is bent, you might try taking it off, flipping it upside down if you can, and then putting a jackstand under the place that the bend occurred. Then begin hanging some gym weights off the side that now needs to bend down. Weights just have to be a half inch off the floor so there is no danger of any suspended weight. But the placement of that jackstand is key to keep from accidentally damaging the frame.

How would placing the jackstand wrong bend the frame? I'm gonna guess that if I screw up the bending of the bumper once I bolt it in, I'm gonna screw the bumper that way? My last ditch idea to make everything flush is to weld the current bolt holes closed and then re-drill them upwards more. Then I'll place the bolts upwards and this should, in theory, make the bumper more flush
