I dropped some coin on Goose Gear, being shipped as I type. How hard was it to take the seats out?

I had those mud flaps on my TH as well. They're terrible on trails above a 2; very little flex, nearly ripped off my fender flares.

Took my seats out to recover them with Katzkins, 4 bolts takes about 5 minutes.

New wheel and tire day! The first time I laid eyes on @gofastdan's Celestial Silver Metallic, I knew exactly what I was doing. He's got my favorite 4th gen. And you know what they say, imitation is the greatest form of flattery!

Method 705 +35mm offset in Titanium.

    285/70/17 BFG KO3

I love the wheels. And I couldn't be happier with the +35mm offset. It's perfect for what I want/need and seems to lineup great with the sliders. I do wish Method offered the center caps in titanium to tie it all together, but hey, it's minimal.

Regarding the tires, we'll see how they do. I had two sets of KO2s and 1 set of ATW3's on my previous 3rd gen. Truthfully, I liked the ATW3's more than the KO2s. They did a lot better in snow, but wanted to try the updated BFGs. We'll see how they do!

In other news, the Super Pacific X1 goes on tomorrow. The truck is going through a radical transformation in 48 hours! Leaving on Thursday for an annual dirt biking and dirt roading trip in the Oregon Desert. Will get some real pics then.

Anyway, finally starting to look like a truck! Here's some pics:

Nice job. Maybe dumb question but what's the blue tape for in the third picture?

    NICE job!

Question. What is the purpose of the lift blocks or riser you have there? Is that as low as you can mount the platform?

Saw this at the dealership when I went there to have my moldings put on yesterday couldn’t resist. I think it is hilarious and I’m gonna put it on the shelf in my pool room.

thats low as i can mount that platform. the reason is the seat best and steel mounts for baby seats are sticking out, so i decided to raise it flush with the plastic in the back. In the future that raised space can serve as small storage, but first ill cover the battery with some sheet of plastic or something. maybe dual bettery seteup components can go there, its a good place since hybrid battery gets air flow there. win win :)

About to do the same. Swapped out aluminum TRD running boards yesterday, and adding Canadian mudflaps soon.

Not worried about the lack of flex in the mudflaps as most trails I hit here in FL are just sand/mud. If ever you wanted to hit more difficult or rocky trails, you can upgrade or just take em off for the trip.
