Can you get away with just deleting it off the ECU?

Possibly. Thankfully truck never went into limp mode and I cleared the code using my ultragauge. Hasn't popped again since yesterday but based off other threads in the forum there's a threshold it has to hit before it'll pop. So it may happen again soon. I have a MPVI3 from OTT that I used for a tune. Not sure if I can use that to alter anything in the ECU without getting anything more from HPTuners. Kind of slow rolling it and weighing my options. Could also do the Hewitt delete kit, which seems to be the most expensive of my options.

(IMO), get HP Tuners, learn how to tune with a wide band, and delete all that shit. If you’re stuck in a state that enforces bs, put the stuff back on once a year and de/tune for the occasion

HPT is the best tool you could ever use for handling secondary air injection. That's all I have to and will say about that.

No arguments here. I think the dilemma I have at the moment is that I'm currently running a 'locked down' OTT tune. I haven't attempted anything as of today, but I am unsure if I would be allowed to change any SAIS reporting functions within the ECU with the OTT tune currently written on it. Can anyone confirm?

Went with the Mishimoto race line fan. Finally got it the mounting buttoned up tonight after fabbing some stuff to get everything mounted and relocated. Shifted the horns to the left, rotated the trans cooler 90 degrees and mounted it vertically after some modification to the mounting brackets. Everything is mounted real rigid so I don’t think I’ll have any issues. It def isn’t enough to replace the factory fan but I think it’ll do exactly what I’m asking of it. I’ll be wiring it to an empty port of my Trigger wireless controller for manual control.

Anyone know if it matters which way the lines go into the trans cooler? I reversed them due to hose length but if it matters I’ll pick up some longer hose and replace it.

On the topic of cats, I clogged up my cat when I was dialing in my tune so I took it out.
But it sounds like shit now and the smell is pretty bad so I plan to add in a 200 cell metal core. The kind you typically see in muscle cars that are pretty free flowing.

Anyone run these/have any experience with them?

I went with Gesi G-Sport, they seem to get the best reviews. 2nd choice was going to be PLM or Flowmaster 200 Series.

I picked up a URD universal pulley. I see a lot of people talking about how tough it is to do the press install - possibly dumb question but would heating it up right before installation help at all? Not something I would try without confirmation, just planning my install process.

Gesi are the cats you want to go for which have the best durability and resilience to big time exhaust flow. I recommend them if you are going to go for them.

I would love to swap over to those as well, but since I'm in the communist state, they need "certification" if they are going to be aftermarket and they need to be the right part number, and BLA BLA BLA.

For the cost of the flowmaster one, I can replace it 7 times before getting to the cost of a gesi. So taking my chances there for now.
I am too, just gotta pay to play

Definitely!! Some guys put the pulley in boiling water just before install, you can put it in the oven, (even pan seared with some garlick) - J.K
Also people use cans of nail polish dry spray kinda like dry ice on the pulley shaft to freeze it up to shrink it. If your doing a pulley hub they go on pretty easy.

Also, when your done with the Pulley install tool I would be glad to buy it off you. I sold my stuff and here I am again needing to buy the stuff for a new FJ project.

In my situation it was extremely easy to press on. Definitely needed a press, but took little pressure. Did not preheat.

Mine were $223 each, so $446 total vs $95.95 each $192 total. So not quite 7 times, but yes they are more expensive.

okay not as bad. I must have been looking at their performance line or something more premium. At least I only need 1 for my 4 cyl.

all this talk of Cats. I recall someone welded up their shorties with Vband connectors so swapping out the cat would be much easier in the future vs having to reweld them if/when they go out. Who was that and any links to it? At some point, I'll get the shorts put on. See if I can convert a N/A JFR Y to work for my setup (exits at 2.5 vs 3") and finally add the exhaust. I was thinking vband connections all around to make it easy to swap back and forth for my every 2 year state checkup.
