Boys I know the size of the bed box I have is way to big.

I have to fit all the things in it, and it does it nicely. All this and more.

You’ll make it work. Side boxes would help so you can get a skid in front of the axle but those side boxes are pricey and it’s a pain to go back and forth. Side to side.

From what I could tell, side boxes wouldn't fit the hoses.

They don't really 'conform' to any shape, other than rolled. So they take up a large amount of space.

Didn't the flat bed have a middle drawer as an option, like this?

    Makes sense.
I think uteltd offers something but I can’t even imagine the price. I never got it for the same reason and from the awkwardness of the hoses I doubt that would be much use as well.

^Should be able to retrofit? The flatbed basically sits above the stock wheelwells, so there should good space between the bottom of the flatbed and the frame? Lol morgue drawer.

I was considering using the space for shocks and maybe a fuel tank down the road

^Going cantilever? Should be able to tuck the shocks much higher than the 4Runner application:

My bed did not offer this as an option, or I would have it. I got every, single thing offered. And something not offered!

A 'J' step for 1 side. Just a hook you can step on that hangs from the bed, to allow easy access up onto the bed.

He tossed in the step because some holes where not drilled in the fender stainless steel mount plates.

Haha. I am just still figuring out shock mounting spots. Was thinking to inboard them kinda like /\ this. Drawer wouldn’t work.

For anyone doing a mid-travel setup in the front, a low-priced option for extended brake lines is to use 2nd gen Tundra rear left brake lines, for example Sunsong 2202672 or Raybestos P/N BH383032: https://partsavatar.ca/raybestos-rear-brake-hose-bh383032

At 14.6" long, it's 3" longer than the stock Tacoma front brake line.

    ummm .....ya.
I know it's aways out but talks have sparked up about the ToyotaTown Mall Crawl on July 20th. Have secured obviously the venue and a food truck as well. I will start canvassing the locals for prizes for the silent auction...same as last year non-perishable food items will go to the London Food Bank.

Can we start a separate thread for this so it doesn’t get lost?

Planning on a upgrade and redesign of the rear suspension come August as I may have talked to a few of you about in ardbeg.

I've been running one EL111s. (Maybe there's an r on the end?). On a dclb they give just slightly over 2" lift (empty weight) and fully flex out 5160s at drop and bump. On your truck with added weight they should still be a decent lift. When I'm camping loaded (4-600lbs) the rake is mostly gone but they support well and well enough oe bump stops still feel fine.

Of note. They might squeak, a lot, or not at all.
