I have an ‘04 Tacoma 4wd, 5 spd reg. cab that I need to replace the front springs. It currently has the factory Toyota “off road” package springs, but they’ve got 225,000 miles on them and they’ve settled a lot. I’d like to replace them with the same part #’s, 48131-AD010 and 48131-AD020, but apparently the driver’s side is nla. I guess an alternative is the OME 880, but does anyone here have personal experience with the amount of lift on a reg cab with stock bumper/ skid plate and no other added weight? Originally with the off road package springs it was up about an inch, but I don’t want to go any higher.

Look at the Bilsteins 4600's. Close to an OE replacement

I’m all set on the shocks, it’s the springs specifically that I need.

General Springs of KC is a crap shoot, roll the bones kind of option. While some swear by them, others have had nothing but issues. As for the OME 2880s, I would say that would be very close but keep in mind that no matter what you decide to go with you will be  at the difference. If you're still on factory coils, yeah it's going to be a huge bump given they are so worn.

It was my understanding that the 880s are stock length, 881s give you a ~2-2.5” lift for a single cab, and 882s give similar lift but are designed for the heavier Tacoma configurations.

That’s kind of what I’ve heard, but… I’d sure like to hear from someone that has them on regular cab before I buy a set.
