Ah, I see! I'll have to check for the plug on mine since it said later 05 and up models may not have the plug.

I had a solid core support before I put in the inner fenders. Had to come up with my own way of supporting the front on the JDfab fenders due to not having a stock core support to attach too. Stilll no issues.

I don goofed. I put 1/2-20 lug nuts both front/rear and have put probably 8-10k miles on the truck since just to realize when I went to rotate tires yesterday, that the front are still m12x1.5 and rear is 1/2-20 (unit bearings).

Correct front lugs are now on but will be swapping front to 1/2-20 ARP studs when I rebuild the outer hubs in the next few weeks.

So now I learned that 1/2-20 will thread onto m12x1.5 but will max out when they seize against the threads rather than actually bottom out to the hub. Luckily they bottomed out and sandwiched the wheel in all those miles without a catastrophe.

    Fiberglass Question?

Just installed McNeil +2 fiberglass fenders and bedsides.

Is it better to paint or vinyl wrap these?

With movement in the fiberglass, I’ve seen paint crack in some photos on here. I don’t know anything about vinyl wrapping.

I’d spray a good coat of bedliner on the underside & then paint if you want it long term.
    It’ll probably still crack a little still…
Clear wrap over the paint could be a good idea too

WSSX16 are the best option for longevity. I personally do F1’s.

I don’t think anybody is using the 1.75” bearing but I guess I could be wrong on that.

Thank you, I’ll take a look at those.

They’re the AP LCA’s. Had the through bolt shear when the truck hit a tree at Jambo.

Yup, called blind man’s bluff. My friend was driving blindfolded and my son was giving him directions. My son said passenger, and Bobby went driver, then smack.

When we saw it, most people though you had more issues. Is the frame okay?
