Any woodworkers?

The algorithms told me I was needed to watch this vid. Kinda nifty in how different it is from standard US construction. Lots of woodworking involved.

Not my best work. Carving with a dremel tool took me way out of my comfort zone. It's for a friend, his favorite scripture quote.
Wood is walnut, 15" tall.

I will see if I can find the plans for the boat.
The hovercraft plans might be lost...because the CAD system I had access to was Fusion360 and as a lab instructor (pre-woohoo-flu) I had free access. Once the "fit hit the shan" my contract was not renewed and access expired. But I will see what I can do.

 

I do have another that I used the kit as a pattern and made a custom herringbone deck and retrofit it for electric.
This is a Dumas Swamp Buggy.
It really scoots..water, snow, ice or wet grass. Transituons very well from water to shore grass. Goes over lillypads, sticks, carp...lol

Brush on Minwax Spar Urathane on all models.

...^^^... For may short wife, I use a round rolling library stool (rollers go up when your step on it) and add foam padding around it to prevent cabinet damage.

Mine has a little bit bigger base than the model below and has a larger top standing platform. I love it because you can move it around with your feet when your hands are full and then step on it.

My solution to the letter-guide ... a $3.50 sign from Home Depot, routed out the letter and made it complete enough to free-hand the finshing touches (veeerrrryyyy carefully).

The name of the first boat is Elenco and again the plans were in Italian.
There are quite a few sites that claim "free plans" but too many turn out to be free spam&jam.
Aerofred is a very good site.
