Finally had some decent weather and installed some Tourch Off Road shocks in the rear to go with my icon leaf springs. Also tried to do the front but failed to get the original suspension off due to rust.

Replacing the splash guards turned into more, I know this going in. I have to do the routine clean before starting so apc everything in the wheel wells, it’s been awhile. Removed & cleaned the gatorback flaps, iron removal and deep scrubbing on the inner wheels- that was the worst part. Checked the torque on spidertrax spacers… and then I can start
    IMG_3480.jpg IMG_3479.jpg

The body is dirty af and I’ve been procrastinating, the plastics are fading a bit and need to do another c4 treatment. Started on cleaning and treating seals in the door jams but need to finish the other 3 doors (I only get occasional openings after work if the yard/garden don’t need attention)

One of my cam tabs was folding over so I bent it back straight and then welded the back sides of all the tabs to support them to prevent future issues

Same on my 2017. I assume just not as much salty foot traffic on the passenger side.

IMG_2571.jpgIMG_2575.jpg This things was so hard to take a pic of. Just mirrory finish. I take a 3m green scrubbie and make a circle on it every now and then but I guess my hand polishes it. Some guys have painted theirs, filled in the numbers and pattern line. But I don’t think it would stay if I did it.

I gotta know please? What is "apc" and "c4"? I try and use Chemical Guys products since they are readily available locally. Wondering what these mysterious treatments are. :]

Fully plug and play no cutting required! I have the same mindset of not cutting/splicing any factory wires

I didn’t use c4 (gtechnic trim restorer) in the wheel well in the pics, I mentioned it because I need to reapply on exterior plastics. It lasts about a yr’ish but if I had a garage I could fit and stay out of the sun maybe longer, also if I washed more regularly. Apc is any All Purpose
Cleaner. I used 4:1 of Meguiar for the wheel well

Just an FYI. If you’re looking for hard tri flip, bison tonneaus is a Canadian based co that does the backflip g2 style for like half the price. Apple Pay lets me klarna it too.
