I like them a lot. They are the Carhartt duck material and very durable/rip proof. They aren't quite as tight fitting as other but they are extremely thick and tough. I will be selling these cheap if you're interested.

On Sunday I partially completed my first DIY oil change. Added this cool psychedelic design to the garage floor in the process.....IMG_20250506_183924.jpg
I'd probably better finish changing the filter this weekend. Here's hoping this new breaker bar works better than shoving a wrench in the end of a cheater pipe....

You may already know this, as I did the same thing last weekend, (hahahaha), but make sure you are using a 24mm socket if you have the Motivx oil filter wrench and not just the drive. Life got a lot easier once I realized what I was doing. And I didn't have nearly the bar you have mustered. Good luck man!

I also added the Fumoto valve to help out next time. It was my 30K service, so I did the diffs as well.

EDIT: They only ship to Canada... That sux...
I saw free shipping, but didn't go any further (for now anyway), do you happen to know is that for Canada only, or does that include the lower 48??

It looks like it is only $210ish USD also, that is more inline to my budget, I like the soft tri-fold and it seems to be fairly water tight

    Thanks for the link...

Ah sorry it looks like they may not ship to the US? I’ll hit their chat later and ask. There are parcel forwarding services from Canada to the US and vice versa to get around companies who won’t ship internationally. I used it to get an autographed Sam Fender record not long ago, although it did increase the price. Not sure what the price would be for that and I dunno what’s going on with cross border shopping and stuff now. If it’s still a great savings for you to buy from them and pay the shipping cost from me to you I’d gladly help ya out. I’m located in Nova Scotia, and I find the cost of these covers astronomical so whatever I can do to save the non 1% some dough, lol.

Installed a dash cam and ham radio last week. Also replaced my driver A pillar with a new OEM one. First time getting inspection at the dealership a year after buying the truck someone gouged a big crevice in it presumably when trying to get the old inspection sticker off.

Well this is as good a place as any! What I have done is BOUGHT ONE! After regretfully selling my HiLux (account pic) to get a 2nd Gen, I had to sell it due to a crazy electrical gremlin. I got a 2021 with 49k miles. So far I have put a threaded metal dash mount for phones and radios, a bed rack, Malone Kayak wings and a Harbor freight rifle case. With stickers of course! Wifey says i am a D Kindergartener. All it took for me to ooh and aww over the truck was a box and some D STICKERS!
    Now she needs a name....

Time for my annual WoolWax application.
A lot of what I thought was rust turned out to be mud mixed into my last coat of WoolWax.

Maybe one of these years I will pressure wash the underside before applying WoolWax
