I keep the color chart handy.

The 98 I posted is Cool Steel Metallic, a one-year-only color. The 99 you posted is Horizon Blue Metallic. Similar enough that I had to check to be sure they were different.

Paradise Blue Metallic is my favorite.

Based on that chart I would love

Black Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, Cardinal Red, Cobalt Blue, Cool Steel, Evergreen Pearl, Imperial Jade, Mystic Purple, Paradise Blue, or Surfside Green

I think I've only seen Mystic Purple once and it was beautiful - had a C4 in a factory purple and it looked beautiful when clean

The truck in this post was for sale locally a while back.

    Mystic Purple Mica TACOMA

Beautiful paint. The seller was asking $40k though, trying to get back all the money he put into it I guess. He got ragged on for it in the Colorado BS thread--"Mystic Purple Markup". I hope it found a good home.

A small electric would be great for teaching balance. The 50 will teach them how to shift gears.

I love the idea of low maintenance with the electric bike.

Yeah for me the electric would be low maintenance, and ease of just taking it out and having fun

But that 50, think that's the model I'll start him off with to upgrade once he's done with electric

Good thing we've got a few years before that happens...man kids ain't cheap :spending:

    OFF TOPIC

So, an adjuster called me yesterday morning (right when my table was being delivered) and got the details of the accident that occurred on Friday.

Was told it'll get moved to another adjuster and that I'd get a call the following day.

Well I did get that call and was able to schedule taking the GX to their adjuster to get pictures of it already since the insured immediately admitted fault. Glad he was as honest to them as he was with me that Friday.

When I asked about 'shops' they actually don't have a list parse, and that they allow claimants to choose their preferred body shop for any and all repairs. This ensures repairs are done to one's satisfaction and can't come back to the insurance company so after Thursday's appointment with the adjuster, I'll be able to check out local (and reputable) shops.

They already admitted to providing a rental too so she beat me to the punch as I was going to request monetary compensation for loss of use during repairs. Only after they get pictures though did she say she can listen to my bringing up diminished value.

The Honda and Yamaha 50s are almost bulletproof from the late 90s and up. Don't be afraid to buy used. They are pretty simple to work on and a lot of OEM and aftermarket support.

Only 2 years and we can get them on a 50.

"The Yamaha TT-R50 is typically recommended for kids between the ages of 4 and 7. It's designed to be user-friendly for young beginners, with features like an automatic clutch and electric start, making it easier for them to learn to ride."

Oh dude I'll definitely be going used! I'm betting you guys have a huge used market up there for them.

If I find one for sale up there when I visit you, I might have to find a way to bring it back

Only familiar with the CRF50F being without a clutch (or auto I should say), so that's cool to know about the Yammie as well!

I think electric is great for starters. The noise can be intimidating and it would be easier to communicate with them without the extra noise. Those 50's are Hella fun though

Didn't take long before we had a fun little dirt track.

That kid loved the sound of motorcycles, I remember pulling up to the house when he was only 3 and he'd be running straight for the bikes

My cusion modified his electric dirt bike that that size. That thing is so fast and dangers now. Especially because he upgraded all the power snd left the stock brakes so you are better off just using you feet if you need to stop

    Nooo, his insurance

I didn't bother call USAA because I knew based on the nature of the accident, I wasn't at fault at all so I just went directly through his insurance company

Was a tad nervous at first cause it's one of those small company types "Loya Insurance"

So when I called the day it occurred, I was surprised it was the actual insurance company as most those places are just brokers

It's only if he contested it, or if his insurance company gave me any pushback that I'd call USAA since they're fast as hell to take care of stuff

Yeah I thought it was only in a small part of CA, until the adjuster called with a TX phone number

Then when she said "let me look up to see where an agent can take photos of your vehicle" I was like oh, I bet it's the one on Cherry Ave (it's the office I found on google when I looked up their phone number)

Yeah apparently they're in several states so I was surprised
