WTF...seems like all the popular/used items for our lifts are on the way out. Since Toytec was out of the Eibach's I orderd from another place and recieved this message from them:

Scott, thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately it looks like the Eibach springs have been discontinued. We're out of stock here and I checked with two of our Eibach suppliers and they've confirmed they are out of stock and now discontinued. I was going to try and see if you'd be okay with switching to the OME coils, but our supplier told us all of those springs have been discontinued as well.

The guy I was ordering tires from also said they where discontinued (BFG TA KO 275/70/17) I was able to check with local seller and he has them and the company states they are not going away anytime soon, so one issue resolved.

But for the springs, where can I get one before they are all gone. Or, is there an alternative (beside the OE spring) that can replace the Eibach with the same results.

    Thx

Can you use the OME 883 or 884 coils instead of the Eibach's with the
front 5100's and achieve the same result?

    Thx

I think the guy is blowing smoke. I can't believe that, as popular as the Eibachs are for the 2nd gen Tacoma, they would discontinue them. And I'm sure that OME is not going to quit making springs for 2nd gens anytime soon. You should be able to use 884 OME with the 5100s set at 0" and achieve the same lift. What is your truck? Double cab, regular or access?

Its a DC..just got off phone with Toytec and they state several weeks before Eibachs are in stock...as for the OME 884, they DO NOT reccomend using ot with 5100's due to the manufacturer.

So I guess its either wait several weeks or use the OE springs.

    Thx

The OME springs work fine on the 5100's

There is a lot of discussion on here concerning OME springs with 5100s. Plenty of people doing it. Do a search. There is a one in the Toytec vendor forum that Chris4x4 started. I'm going to get 885s here in a few months and set my 5100s to the "0" setting.

Can the 5100's be set at the .85 setting with the 884's, or is this pushing it. Was looking to get about 2.5" lift in front.

You can do it if you have different UCA's. The ride will be very firm, but a few people have done it. If you want 3" lift, youre better off getting the 885's.
