I love all my birds too. We usually get swallows that rebuild their nests and bats up under the porch so having a robin is a first.

We'll see if the robins deter the swallows from any nest building because it's probably only 5ft away from their spot. Still got another few weeks I think.

Rather bats then mosquitos

Bats are the only boxes I've considered putting up. The more the merrier.

 

Lotsa bats around here - I usually see em in the summer when I walk my dog at sunset

 

Yeah...I don't like Skeeters Neither..We got some Bats and alot of Martins eat them.

 

My man is tired of Alabama

 

As long as they stay up there away from me...its all good

Afternoon Whatevers
It’s been a long day started at 4am . 6 miles in the turkey woods this morning and still have not pulled the trigger . Came very close today ,twice . Hunting with my f’ed up eyes just makes it more difficult. Came home did some mowing and put 50’ of chicken wire up on my garden fence . Still need another 50’ at least .Removed lawn mower deck and cleaned it . Washed the mower then mowed some more and raked up grass clippings. I’m beat . Drinking a Manhattan and relaxing before a hot shower then possibly a dip in the hot tub .

I've got a bat box up! But they haven't been brought to the yard.
