I have the same saw/battery combo. It's in the bed of my truck for all of my off-road fishing, hunting, camping and exploring adventures. So nice not dealing with the gas can. I've used it on some downed limbs and it's awesome. I know some arborists who use it exclusively for climbing work now.

We use them in the bucket to top electrical poles.

Any of you on Whatnot? I’ve bought so much Milwaukee shit off that site. Dropped another $230 on a 17 piece metric set and M18 impact driver

My new M18 crown stapler with 1.5" SS staples is working great on these eastern white cedar shakes. 1850's barn. The T1-11 was installed a couple of years ago. I flashed it and added the tar paper for prep. I have a plank and ladder brackets (just not in this pic). Nothing is plumb/level. I snapped a chaulk right along the wall, right at the bottom of the rafters. The left is only 1" higher. The crooked facia board makes it look worse than it is.

    Just getting started.
That's going to looks great when it's done and has some patina from weathering. Did you use the narrow crown stapler?

Yes, I used that narrow crown stapler. They're holding extremely well in the 2" thick barn boards. I tested a small section before I started to test for staple depth and strength.

My customer pre treated all the cedar with a clear preservative. She used a pump sprayer.

I've got an XC8.0 that shows it's fully charged (green) but only shows 3 bars. I plan on doing a full discharge and then charge again to see what happens. My other XC8.0 charges to 4 bars so it's not a charger issue. Anyone seen this? Lots of hits on YT and Bing search.

I haven’t had this happen, did you notice any performance change other than run time? I just found out one of my ryobi 18v high performance batteries charged on the dock but when I went to use it in the tool was DOA. It’s is exactly 37months from when I bought it so no warranty. This is only the 2nd ryobi battery I have had fail in 16 years.

I've had one like that since new. I don't notice any performance differences, both power and longevity. I just run it.

When I ran that M18 Narrrow Crown Stapler on that barn, I used the lighter 3.0. Went through a box (500) of staples and was still at 4 full bars. Impressive.

Agreed. I tried their side cutters and they sucked! I mostly use Klein hand tools.

    Impossible!

Rear sliding window, intermittent wiper switch, center console tray, glove box organizer shelf, WeatherTech front mats and mud flaps, 3D MaxSpider behind-the-front-seats mat, bed lights, MESO climate control rings, XPEL tailgate protection, Desertdoesit.com seat jackers, RAV4 radio knobs, glove box letters.
Pulled the trigger on the M12 vacuum with free 5.0 battery at Home Depot. Suction is just what I need and if I want more I'll use my Ridgid corded beast for bigger clean-ups. The M12 vac is much heavier than I expected but I've been using an old 1 gallon corded Shop Vac for at least 15 years so I guess I'm used to that!

My 8.0 battery seemed to almost lose its power very quickly in the last few months--quickly drained when just using it with a hand blower. Got it in a weed whacker kit. It doesn't hold a charge like it once did but it's a few years old now. Contemplating buying another but we'll see.

It performs as if it's fully charged. If I run it until it's fully discharged and then charge it until it's 'green' and still only 3 bars, then I guess I won't worry about it. Like stated here, it's annoying but that's about it.
    Edit: spelling

I wonder if it's just an issue with the indicator light.

I've had some weird issues with older batteries, but it doesn't sound like that is the case here.
