In the summer between middle school and high school a good friend of mine was halping another friend fix something under a car. The car fell on him. He died.
I take that shit pretty seriously.

I'm really sorry to hear about this! I've heard of this type of thing happening, and it's scary to think about.

I could, but ..... nope!! I need to do an oil change and tire rotate before I leave. I'll probably drop them off at @Pixeltim on my way to Alaska.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
TBH, the base looks to be as wide as jack stands. So if you're on flat concrete, I don't see them going anywhere.

The only problem I see is how they limit access under the vehicle.

I'm sure it's all fine and stuff. But unless there is a way to lock that scissors part once up, I'd be wary of just trusting the hydraulics.

I looked at those once. They have a triangulated mechanical locks. They’re a neat tool, good for suspension work, rotations etc. As long as you have a space that let’s you lift that high. That made my decision to not get them easy lol

the quick jacks have 2 locking positions. the hydraulics are only for lifting and lowering.

My son got sick at his track meet yesterday so I think today's adventure is off the table.......

Those jackwagons in the bad advice thread got me going on this fishing thing.
Bought my license and a trout stamp last night.
Might go take a few early morning casts, instead.

I'm enjoying my Arbuckles while watching geese in the pond.
Coffee was made with bottled water. Part of the cost of a new well pump and pressure tank 3 weeks was a water test.
We got the results back Thursday.
Our water taste great and doesn't smell. Arsenic is almost 5× the allowable limit.
I informed my Dr's and had blood drawn yesterday to check for heavy metals and I have to do a 24hr pee collection, they gave me a nice jug for that.
Wednesday a guy from Culligan is coming over to show us options for removing Arsenic. :spending:

I wonder if this explains why I have trouble listening to @pearing giving me driving instructions. :curls:

Coffee tastes better with well water.
Just saw the geese doing it.
