I always wash the frame off but I never remove the skids or spare tire to clean after off roading or crawl under the truck to spray off the under body.
This year I decided to do a full recoat vs just spraying the frame and a lot of dirt had build up on the body seams. It looked like rust but after wiping it with a rag the metal was factory fresh, and I haven't cleaned or resprayed the under body in 3 years.

The only rust on my truck is some surface rust on frame welds and on parts that are exposed to road spray from the tires, which is unavoidable if you live in the north where they salt the roads.

Woolwax is a rust inhibitor so anything it touches either won't rust or will stop rust from spreading. And if you have ever dealt with Woolwax or fluid film you know it is sticky, attracts dirt like crazy, and is impossible to fully clean without removing all of it.

That’s a really interesting theory! I was plagued with being unable to see the traffic lights for cross traffic at intersections due to the huge mirror, even with it pivoted all the way up.
I have a couple fancy mirror options and PCS. In addition to being way too wide the mirror is also super thick, and when lifted it contacts the PCS housing on the windshield way before it is anywhere near the ceiling. I actually dremeled out a notch in the mirror housing to clear the PCS bump allowing it lift it a little higher, before eventually replacing the entire thing with a smaller mirror.
I definitely think trim level and optional equipment has a lot to do with mirror adjustment range like you are saying

Thx! I read those "rattle" posts as well. I countered any rattling by wrapping the shift post with a small strip of foam weather stripping where the dubbs sits.

And they’re on! Alignment tomorrow morning, and then to my buddy’s shop to weld on the CMC plates.

Just got my truck back from a local Houston shop regeared with 5.29s and had them install ECGS bushings while they were there. Unfortunately I had to replace my passenger side cv axle 2 weeks earlier. While I was there I added a diff. drop.

Well here’s my stupid question for the day. I have noticed I hear a very brief short buzz sound when I shift to reverse from park. It has always done this nice day one. The tranny seems to work and shift just fine. I did look in the manual to see if this was normal with no luck. I thought it might be a factory alert that I have shifted into reverse. 2022 Limited with 32000 on it. Should I be concerned ?

Where is the "buzz" coming from? Could help figuring out if it concerning or not

Sounds like it’s inside the truck. It’s only one or two seconds long. I was thinking that maybe it’s connected to the BSM I have turned on. It’s an odd question I know but it does puzzle me. Otherwise the truck performs well, no issues. The tranny shifts just fine.
