Okay I have looked around, but cant really find out how to accomplish what I am looking to do.

Think Traxxas Rustler RC truck, lol...

I DONT want any big lift.

I WANT: smooth ride, think cadillac; good suspension travel, think trophy truck; the front a half inch higher than the rear; to fit a nice wheel/tire set without issue, not too big, just right; to be able to pull my R6 into the bed for track days.

I know this is not the norm, but I have an idea in my head and really want to make it happen. I like the look of wide long travel trucks, but how can i get that and NOT lift the truck a bunch. I wouldnt want more than a 2.5" lift up front, and no more than 2" in back. I DONT like the idea of spacers, anywhere, I feel like they are a cheap trick to get the look, and Im not a fan.
I have NOT done the TSB on the rear leafs, still rocking the 3, lol... i dont want to fix it and then have the back higher, and stiffer, which is I think what it does, right? (shouldnt I be fine with a bike or two in the back with 3 leaf springs?

Thanks for the help guys!!! And if you think I'm an idiot for any of this, I dont care, leave out the WTF, dumbass, etc. comments... just help me get as close as I can to where I want to be! thank you!

he wants a bro lean so no AAL needed.

    then throw on some 265/75's.

If you want cadillac ride its going to cost a lot because you'll need aftermarket coilovers.

are you saying you want to lift the front and the back with lifting the back less or do you want your truck to sit nose high? if you lift both for example the front 2.5 and rear 2 you will still be a small amout higher in the rear. if you want the front of your truck taller and the back stock, then i would say get 5100's set them at 1.75 and leave the back alone. this will allow you to fit a little bigger tire with no rubbing. not to sure what you want to do but that what i got for you.

haha, no bro here... lol... no offense to those who are but thats ALMOST what made me NOT buy this truck... I just want the rear a bit lower, rather than higher. Higher looks dumb, to me, lower will help with loading street bikes into the bed. I dont want my bike to bottom out loading it in. Cant always find a good angle to load it up, you know? If I lift the truck at all, the rear cant move too high.

you could just do the 5100's at .85 and it will put you about level

30+ inches of suspension travel is better than "good", and you're never going to get it on any truck with a stock frame.

What's a more realistic idea of what you're looking for?

I like the stock height now, but I was thinking of putting a BETTER suspension under me, to give a better ride, smoother, etc. Ive had COs on cars, had good results, great ride, good height adjustability, but not sure how they fair on our tacomas. If I got COs would it be a waste, not lifting a bunch? I want the look and feel of a LT but not a lot of LIFT, does that make sense? Im bad with truck terminology, so bare with me. and again, thanks for the help!

What do the 5100s do really? Smoother ride? Lift?

5100's provide lift, not a smoother ride.

what you want is some aftermarket adjustable coilovers (icon, fox, king, etc). At stock height they will be pretty plush.

i know, im not saying I'll get there, im only saying that to give you an idea of the look I want, you know? Obviously when I say I want it to ride like a cadillac, it'll never get there, but Id like to get as close as possible.

What if I did some sort of LT (to push the wheels outward? not lift much), with COs to lower it back down? But then would that ride alright?

would maybe just a good set of COs and some wheel spacers (eesh) do what I want to do? But i did want to stray away from them. Maybe just wider wheels/tires?

you cant get the lt lookwithout going LT.... unless you run like 3 inch spacers which you dont want

It'd ride beautifully but you're easily looking at $20k+ to long travel the front with a linked rear. More realistic is well north of $30k.

Is this primarily for looks, on-road performance, light off-roading, or night-speed desert bashing?

the right way to get the wider stance is different (less) backspacing on the wheels.

"That effect" still leaves a lot to interpretation. Sound like you're primarily interested in looks.

    What's your budget?
