Guy who backed into me last year was oblivious as well. Walked to his car, started, backed up right into me despite:

-Having walked to the middle of that level of the parking garage and seeing the line, he had to know he wasn't getting out easy.
-The line hadn't moved in about 5 minutes.
-Me laying on the horn and my brother in law yelling out the window

Then he gets out and says "oh where were you I didn't see you?" I said "I haven't moved in 5 minutes sir". "Oh well I'll just take your phone number". That made me lose my shit.

Nah, I'd probably still be in jail if it was, it was my Honda. Sad thing was, he was back down the main aisle, not a parking spot. He just couldn't go back around in a 90% empty lot. Back up camera, back up alerts, side and rear view mirrors and you STILL hit someone? Yeah, time to park the truck and get a smart car.

When I bought my 2009 in 2020, I assumed I was biting the bullet and buying at peak. Apparently not.

Plan on keeping this one for a long time. It stays parked most of the time.

Same with my 2015 picked up in fall of 2020… I can probably get what I paid if I actually tried to sell it.

Depending on how long you’ve had those 295’s and if you have modified things, you’ve got more miles than your odometer says… :boink:

(30k odometer miles would be off by 2400 real miles)

I am not really concerned about it. 4Runner had over 325K on it when I sold it and everything still worked. These trucks last a long time if you just take care of them and keep them out of the salt. Lol.

good point. I’ll see if Carvana will give me over $18k for my old lady.

then I’ll get a crown Vic P71 for $3k or something.

    they’re tanks.

just need a to b wheels.

Honda S2000, I got what I paid for mine. Now you could tack another $10K on that.

My 2011 (owned since new) has just over 100k. According to KBB my truck is worth about 15.5k. I paid just over 29 for it in late 2010. Considering it is 14 model years old, a 50% depreciation rate is excellent. I'm not selling, but just got curious from reading this thread.

You would probably get 20 or a bit more in realville.
