Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
All floor joists and sill plate in the dining and kitchen areas replaced. I was going to install the new base plate, but when I was measuring to cut the studs, I found the studs had more rot than I liked. So, I have a stack of new PT 2x4s that I will install tomorrow. I'm going to take out where the PO framed out for a French door and just put in full length studs. I'm also taking the window out to make it a solid wall. Once the layout of the kitchen and dining areas is finalized, I'll cut and frame out the wall for windows.

4x4s are sitting on top of 20k jacks which will hold the roof up when I cut out the wall components.

Went with Milgard Fiberglass casement windows and so far (1 wk) we are happy with them. I'm looking to finish off the interior and was thinking to do tear-away edge bead and trimless drywall. Tear-away edge bead would work on this bottom sill except where the vertical is proud by 3/4" as part of the style apparently. Has anybody done a modern finish off of casement windows? I am thinking to just use blue tape instead of tear-away bead where the vertical abuts the sill, but suspect that will leave a bit of imperfection which stands out. Thanks if any ideas. I guess you could make a 1/2" thick sill and cutout around the vertical with a precision saw but that seems like an inefficient route. Also posted below is the 8' slider replacement, the side vents are perfect inbuilt dog doors.

Sorting out some odds and ends in hopes to sell down the line, so had our side and front walks redone in just poured concrete (prior owners didn't pitch it, front was deterioriating, etc.)

There was a drain for a leader over by the garage that was clogged and deteriorating underneath so I redid it in DWV PVC 4" and installed a cleanout the night before the AM pour the next day. Garage light came in handy with this one, nothing flashy, nothing exciting, but needed to be done.

Any plumbers can give me an idea what is this scale growing in my drain? Feels like calcium, coats the vertical drain to water level then clogs at water level. Grows pretty fast, cleaned out about 4 months ago then here again a few days ago. Seems to start from weep holes from around shower pan under tiles...

Could be caused from calcium lime rust spray in shower? From mold mildew soap scum spray?

Certainly not from water sediment, right? My other drains aren't looking like this.

Trying to get this project done between the rain. 1850's barn. Nothing plumb/level. This wall has quite an outward bow to it. My customer installed that T11 (not level again). I flashed the T11 and installed the tar paper. I had laddeer brackets and a plank (just not in pic). Adding eastern white cedar shakes (5" exposure) to the upper part and to that small section of the rear of the house to the left (someone started it last year). My customer is pre spraying them with clear preservative before installation. Coming along nicely so far. There's about an inch variance from L to R as measured from the bottom edge of the roof rafters. I can easily make that up in the remaining courses so it's not noticeable. That Facia board is way off, thus making things look even worse. Did all of the above in one day by myself.

Need to figure out the corner trim on the right. The back of Barn is a mix of various materials.

I've been trying to make a new mailbox post from salvaged 6x6's from the old deck. It was my 1st attempt at making mortise and tenon joints, so I wasn't going to be upset if I got it wrong. I didn't exactly nail the perfect joints, but they ill be good enough to hold up a mailbox. The next one will get better.

@ralfnjan, Haha, I was like that, the first time I noticed/cleaned out this drain. Now it's different, hehe, this stuff is friendlier than your regular, everyday, normal, waste-drain-pipe black-scum build-up.

@Drainbung, this isn't a commode waste-line. But looks pretty much like it I will agree.

@MGMDesertTaco, it's getting to the point, where this is a possible next step. I have felt it, seems gritty...

@Sig45 It might be, I will report, once known.

I had some fun drain stuff last weekend. Washer was backing up so i just rented a sewer camera and went at it with some manual snakes. Took me 4 hours.

3 hours with the pressure washer today. Hit all of the windows and doors as well as the walkway to the front door and the back patio. I should have done a before / after but it would have been embarrassing. It never looks to be as dirty as it is until you clean it up.
