Drove my 3RZ swap 4Runner for the first time today! No surprises, 7km of test drive went smoothly. Clutch needs to break in more, but engages and disengages properly.
I have to replace the fan clutch because it never released.
The cherry bomb is as loud as I feared, it'll likely get replaced with something chambered.

First direct sunlight since Oct 2022.

 

There's a cat just south of me by 4km...Toyota guy by the look of the driveway. Recently deposited a 1st gen 4runner in the driveway. Can't get a good look at the project, yet, but tailgate is absent *shocker* and it's definitely a project. I'll drop by sometime methinks

 

Bet that was a nice drive.

Got some front BORA spacers on order to stay away from hitting the frame and UCA.

Was a sweet drive indeed, hard to believe this day finally arrived. Pretty anti-climactic actually, but I was gunning for a drama-free road test.

For tires, will be 33 x 10.5 x 15 Toyo MT at some point in the future.

@tacoma16 are we able to do a Milton meetup June 7th? Is that enough time? Or the next weekend. Have some nice weather for a change.

 

Don’t think it interferes with anything. Keep in mind we have the July 20th one in London but if I recall you can’t make that one. I’m down for whatever
