    Gladiator has a solid front axle. That’s about where the advantages end. And that’s assuming you’re going pretty hardcore.

    Not having to hack on it to get a front locker is a big selling point for me

    Eaton locker part number 14221-1. I mostly use it as a last resort. When I have been stuck in bad mud or snow. Usually it is to back out of the situation instead of digging deeper. I have used it a few times to show off on straight sections that are going to lift the tires like crazy or low traction.

    I have attempted to turn while it was engaged and I could feel things get bound up quickly. So I stay away from situations where I would have it on for prolonged periods like heavy rock crawling. I got a big camper on the back so I don't just rock climb it for fun, usually just to get past the one or two tough parts of a trail.
