    Logically, I know that when I find an old bottle while digging for treasure that still has the lid on it with something in it, I shouldn't sniff the contents. But I can't help it. You just gotta sniff right? Asking for my friend of course

    I did the sniff test on some old bottles I found when I was a kid. One was H2SO4... and I learned to be more careful.

    Here's a couple pictures of what is left of an old growth redwood in Miranda, CA with notch visible, and kids for scale. There was a grove just to the north that was mostly spared the axe, but this area wasn't and it definitely had a graveyard vibe to it.

    @RustyGreen my family and I could use your expertise identifying old rusty car parts!

    An old rear end from something. When I was a kid it was a trailer - you can see the receiver welded onto the tube. That's since rotted away and been dismantled. Now its time for the rest of this to move on..

    A) Im genuinely curious what it might be from. Assuming that driveshaft tube is original, I've never seen anything like that.
    B) is it worth anything? Should we feel bad about scraping it or not?
