I have all.of his arm parts to start phase 2 post processing on next.

 

He's a lot taller than you might expect....

Here is Scout with my 5'8" daughter;

 

How flammable is the plastic you printed with? The premade spacers for this are a flame retardent plastic in order to keep a small electrical fire from turning into a big one...... They also only cost a couple dollars.

 

Made a spacer block for new led light pods for the Prinsu rack. Found a model Hyrule crest to add for a finishing touch. Prototype of that one turned out well, will just have to check it tomorrow.

First two prototypes were not quite right. First had a rounded front but looked funny. Second was a block but needed a few edits. Third should be good enough. After the test fit tomorrow, I’ll print the 4 others I need.

 

It fit pretty well, just made a tiny change to the hole size and have the other 4 printing now.

 

While I appreciate the sentiment, I'm not concerned one bit. The ring was printed from ABS which has a flame point of 660⁰F or 350⁰C. That said:

1) I'm a licensed electrician and took plenty of other precautions to ensure that the install doesn't come to the point of failure (i.e. strict strip lengths, torqued connections, full tape around the connections to limit exposed conductors/connections).

2) If this trim ring is exposed to 660⁰F or 350⁰C, then the wires were melted LONG before the ABS since NM-B (Romex) only has a temp rating of 90⁰C.

3) Even printed, these only cost me cents each compared to a few bucks a piece at the store.

I haven’t printed much of anything lately but recent events have prompted me to revamp the networking in my house so I printed some brackets to keep my new equipment aligned until I decide on a rackmount solution.
