My sailboat, to bad i don't get to race her as much anymore. Although getting paid to sit on a boat/drinking beer and watching a race is pretty much as good as it gets:D

She looks good for being made in 1967.

I am looking at getting something this size, but reluctant on if my 07 PreRunner can pull this out of the water. It has the tow package, but no 4X4. How much does the boat weight and how big is it? I am looking at a 22' boston whaler or hydra-sports center console. Do you guys think the 07 Tacoma double cab V6 w/ tow package can pull this up the boat ramp?

It would just depend on a lot. How steep is the boat ramp, how much tongue weight the boat/trailer has, what surface the boat ramp is, tires? I pull my 20.5 Ft Four Winns Cuddy out in 2x4 all the time with no problems at all. It does makes me feel a little better that I do have 4x4 incase I need it though. I woud say your going to be ok 99.9% of the time, its just that .1% of the time that you could have problems.

I'd like a 21" Hyrdra Sports center console. Or the Boston Whale but that's even more out of my price range than the Hydra Sports haha. For now the 18" Sea Pro will have to do.

How does the Sea Pro handle? Do you have any pictures? What are some of the things you look for in a boat? I am planning on buying one with in the next year or so. I could go for a Hyrda Sport, but this would be my first boat so I do not think I should go for something expensive. My dad had a 50' shrimp boat, so I have some experience on boat maintenance, but nothing on fishing boats. So I was thinking of getting something easily maintainable at first until I get a good understanding of things and then upgrading if need be.

Just picked this up this weekend, 69 Duo x15 with a 45 horse Chrysler Outboard, got it for free, hasn't run or moved for 6 years at least, should be a fun project :)

OK, I'll go ahead and post up both of my "boats". I know I know, but the higher gas goes...the unlamer they gets. Also there are more than 2 happiest days of boat ownership as opposed to other boats, not just the day I bought them & the day I sell them.
