I skipped the weed eating part, felt lazy. :anonymous: Got the Honda self propelled out and did the best edging I could.

I did swap out the mulching blades for the high lift. I should have done that for the first mow, but I didn't. I usually put them (mulching blades) on when the leaves start falling and take them off after a couple mows in the Spring. Guess the fertilizer I put down last year really kicked in and it was too much for the mulching blades... It started raining a bunch right as the grass started mowing and it just all went to Hell...

The prep for that shit is way worse than the procedure.

Although them making sure you fart after said procedure is done is hilarious... :anonymous:

My last 2 that's no longer the process. They now use C02 instead of "air" and the body absorbs it. So no fart orchestra amongst the curtain divided rooms.

Well damn. Guess the only thing to look forward to now is being able to finally eat a big meal after leaving the place.

    i get it, but, boooooo

My riding year hasn't gotten started for various reasons and I'm absolutely losing my shit.

but you're not wrong. And your bikes are worth real money. Mine...wouldn't be worth the trouble. Just leave 'em in the garage for that perfect day...

Got both small decks/porches done. Neighbors, so they're both the same. Had to sand out some gouges from someone using a metal shovel over the winter.

Grinds my gears when I see a carpenter/builder not putting a clean cut on the ends of deck boards. One side is all rough factory edges. Asshats.

Oh and the builder Effed up the stairs on both. Top step treads have zero overhang over the riser. Bottom step has traditional 1" overhang. I looked at the detail, and they placed blocking and attached the steps on the bottom edge of the skirt board (which acts as the top riser). Needed to trim the stair stringers to account for that blocking/depth for the proper overhang.

These aren't cheap houses either. $400-$450K range and only 3 yrs old.

Give me an old house any day. My house has 2x10 floor joist and a triple 2x12 main beam. It has its issues, but is pretty solid. We had some nasty almost 80mph winds the Saturday before Easter and nothing was out of place.

Now, there's a couple joist have cracked over time and about 3 eaten up from termites, but being 2x10 hasn't seemed to matter much. :anonymous:

But not all old homes are well built. Friends house was built by the family and has 2x6 floor joist. Two of them are cracked in half and the floor feels like it's going to fall through when you step in that area. I keep offering to help and sister them with new wood but you know how that goes
