    Good Morning :hattip:

Yesterday's weather wasn't favorable to take the Camaro out of the garage . And today's weather is not looking great either with actual rain in the forecast as the Camaro is not a wet weather car !!!

So yesterday I decided to change light bulbs inside and outside my house . I changed all the light bulbs inside the house to much brighter Daylight bulbs . So much brighter inside now and I like it !!!!!

I then decided to change outside entry way lights in the front patio to daylight bulbs with photo cell on / off feature that go on at dusk and off at dawn and also had the ability to turn them on / off from inside

This is what I found out last night once it got dark outside !!!! . Being a photocell activated light and the two lights located 10ft from ea other they turned on and off every 5 minutes !!!:frusty:

We made it to/from DL's yesterday. Car, fresh out the body shop looks great in the sunlight, drove great. I let the SIL drive it to the gas station and back. I'll have to change the seat setting back, reset the radio. Constant road work everywhere. Several detours... how did I ever make this trip?... It doesn't look the same. They call this progress. I call it burning through the free money gravy train.

    Morning all:

Got this email this morning, looks like I get to keep the extra floor liners, the one good thing is that I don't need to go through any hassle of returning them. Maybe should keep them for a while just in case, and I will absolutely document this email

Well so much for trying to get to my Doctor's appointment this morning . Got in my truck turned the key and heard the pleasant sound of a dead battery . Also strong storms rolling thru my area dumping alot of rain onto the roads into Nashville and turning a normal 45 min drive to well over 1.5 hrs or longer

I called the VA to reschedule my Doctor's appointment until October and my truck is hooked up to my battery tender plus to charge the battery

Obviously you’re a traffic engineer and road construction engineer, god forbid we have better/safer roads

Yesterday was good. Wife thanked me for a GOOD DAY OUT. Market doing good. Forest is loving this spring. Dog was 100% well behaved.

But this hernia feels like being nutted 24/7. I find out surgery date today. Lady surgeon said they want me in soon, maybe Friday!

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Sometimes, the better/safer is doubtful. I've seen projects around here that make you scratch your head. One such example: The state stuck their nose into a local intersection rebuild project, turning a normal (very busy!) intersection into a 3 lane roundabout! Crashes immediately went up 6x what they were. 3 years later, they're still over double what they were as a normal stoplight intersection.

Another: They cut out a left turn at an intersection. Why? I'll never know. They proceeded to add 2 extra stoplights and now, you have to go past the original intersection, make a u-turn (on a green light) to go back and turn right.

I sure wish I could get some of what they're smoking! I would post locations on Google maps, but the pictures haven't been updated yet.

We have roundabouts here in Michigan, they do take some getting used to. I think the Romans invented them to alleviate traffic congestion. I feel roundabouts are part of a learning curve that most people are unwilling to accept. People HATE change , the only constant. When my father was born, 1920 ish there were 2 billion people on the planet. When I was born there were 4 billion people on the planet, late 50’s . Now we have roughly 8 billion people sharing the same amount of space. It’s a learning curve/process that really upsets people. Traffic circles work, it’s the people that have issues
All local roads have to meet state standards / federal standards
