Monday Morning Manly Men

The guessers are calling for sunny & 81 today, let's do something good.

 

Morning

Checked tracking on my softener and it looks like it should be here on the ol' delivery truck today. Two piece shipment which the heaviest box is 67lbs so it definitely went through the overhead sorters so it's a 50/50 shot it arrives intact. I maintain that equipment so it makes me nervous

Guess I could have used the advance tracking to see if it went overhead, but can't use that from home. Oh well.

Taking Friday and Saturday off this week to get it in. There's a 3/4" x 1/2" copper male adapter in the well tank tee that scares the bejebus out of me to think about getting it out. Someone hulk tightened it in there and it needs to come out so I can run a proper 3/4" line. Already confirmed there's a couple 32 gallon pressure tanks in my area in case things go sideways

Guess while the tanks empty I need to double check the bladder psi is at 38...

I have a package that was in the delivery depot yesterday.
Then it ended back just about where I came from.
Now it says delayed.
I don’t think it was even shipped. lol

, I was reacting due to my personal encounter, which I hope they have changed their business practices since.

 

It's a hit or miss depending on the contractor operating that particular route. Mine seems to be pretty good. Did have an issue one time and when notified the situation seemed to be resolved. Pretty sure I have that same driver today.
