A catch 22 for the ages.

Noticed I’m still in slow mode to the point where most pages time out and don’t load..
(I guess I spent alot of time on wifi over the past few days.). Last week the auto assistant lied to me when it said I purchased additional data.

Today, me and the customer service rep found out the secure login page needed to verify my identity won’t load in slow mode.. This is needed despite me having my PIN. :frusty:

The moral of the story, don’t run out of high speed data.

    Back to original programming…

There is no "high speed data" where we live. We have brightspeed ran through the phone line. It works.

Ain't paying for the starlink :spending:

That toolbox I bought had 2 pairs of really old Snap-On snap ring pliers in it, one was worn out the other was broke. Snap-On guy is one of our customers, he just came by and gave me 2 brand new ones. I'm giving them to Cole as I have a complete set.

I forgot to take pics of the old ones.

These are easily converted to external or internal with a push button like a ratchet.

@six5crèéd I remember you asking me about how the softener I ordered works. Well, obviously I haven't installed it, but I noticed an interesting bonus. I don't know if it's because I ordered it right from Aquasure, but it came with this big honkin' filter assembly o_O

(yes my workbench is a mess, I was sorting my PEX fittings and unboxing stuff)

So, it saves me from buying a filter. Although the little 2x4 I anchored to the wall to mount the other filter I was going to buy is not gonna be sufficient. Got to use a 2x6 to mount that big arse bracket o_O

A bird in the office is worth two in the bush....er something.

On the lathe side of the shop there is no one in the front office so I open the shop door to see out the front door. If it's pretty, I open the office door to let air all the way through the shop. I opened the office door to the shop this morning but not the one to outside since it's raining.

I noticed this bird looked like it was trying to get in the door. About an hour later I got to looking and it was actually trying to get out.

I guess it flew in last week when I had the door open :anonymous:

I shut the door and went around the front and unlocked it, it flew out.

That reminds me, I need to go under our house and change the filter.

We get pigeons in our building pretty bad. We can't really do a whole lot about it. Although a couple years ago a hawk made an appearance and the floor looked like a bloodbath for a couple weeks o_O

I have those sticky fly traps hanging in my shop at home, one of them has feathers all over it. I don't know if it was a hawk or what.

Not a big fan of not being able to see through it, but the filter setup is like $100 so it saves me from buying a filter. Replacement cartridges are like $40, but allegedly it's good for 50,000 gallons.

That one looks bigger than ours, I get replacement cartridges from Amazon.

Pretty sure after the first filter gets dirty I'll just buy the 30 micron sediment filter. I haven't noticed any sediment in my water right now being right from the ground currently with no filtration. They had the old softener setup without a filter and it lasted 25 years so we'll see.

Wow, 18% is rather steep for the buyers premium.
