Easy Off in the yellow can does a great job of de-anodizing too. Fill a container so parts are submerged and wait for a bit. I used it to remove the blue from helicopter parts.
Using that or the other stuff will leave a bit of mild oxidization, but it buffs to a shine fairly easy.

just a couple of things tbh
Went and checked it out and wow both me and the gf loved it! The bike had no blemishes on it what so ever and runs and idles great( went home to get my helmet for a test ride).

Currently gonna bring the bolt to see if I can at least get 3k on trade and if I do I'll take it home with me. We liked it that much.

Also the red I saw was an aftermarket shifter. I asked for info on it and all they know is it's a 1 owner bike that was well taken care of.

It's a Puig adjustable shifter. Their stuff is solid, so need not worry on that. I really looked at a black and white tracer before I bought my AT and would consider one in a hurry if I decided to move to a smaller cc bike.

If those heated grips are like the FJR, you have 3 levels of heat and can set each level from 1-10. Mine are set 4, 7,10. I rarely use them but with the handguards they might work better.

I use heated gloves far more than the heated grips. I ride year round and in below freezing temps so the cold air is hitting the outside of my hands not my palms. If they weren't stock equipment I wouldn't have them.

I have a grinder pump. Anything too bad tears up the seals on it and i have bigger issues then

    Oh sick!
    Sounds good thanks!
    Hey it's just cold outside!!
Uhh noooo. I tripped and fell is all

    Sad days!

Well I bought it! I love it and so does the gf! Idk if it was the best financial decision but oh well... I got 3k for the bolt and 500 off the bike. With the bike being a bit higher in miles I opted for the 4 year warranty that covers everything on the bike. Plus the 5 year for tires so if I have any failure I'm covered on literally anything. Still iffy on it since I've never bought a warranty but I'd like this bike to stay for 5 years or longer haha

I know haha. I'm still super excited but I'm also nervous since I'm supposed to be responsible one haha.

Thanks! I took the gf around the block and she loves how smooth and comfy it is.

We are going to miss the bolt we had some awesome times with it but it was time for something better for us.
