Only had them a week, but they look really nice, and aren’t any louder than the Wild peaks I was running. Have a trip planned in just over a month where they’ll get some hard use.

First “34’s” I’ve had, as I just finished the front suspension to accommodate them last weekend.

    Shift boot done.

I need to get my door card fabric done, and then I was kind of thinking headliner.
All done by Raul at economy upholstery in Chula Vista

It’s really basic, I’m just using two 12” long pieces of aluminum flat bar. There are slot nuts in the bed rails and using the hardware the X-bulls come with, and the bottom threaded rod leveling against the bedside. I liked this spot because you already lose space with the wheel well so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. Most people put them on the front wall which you could do this way with longer pieces of aluminum/steel flat bar. I didn’t do this so I didn’t lose space in my bed and you can see I already have a mount in this spot for my mountain bike.

A couple more things today. I'm trying to force myself to work on my truck a little bit after work.

I grabbed a 2013 dash button trim piece from the junkyard the other day. I swapped this out today too. I needed the extra slot for my heated seat switches. I do enjoy that Toyota brought the switch forward.

First picture is the new one. Second is the old one.

I'm doing the 4Runner heated mirror, puddle lights, and blinker swap. These are 08 Highlander mirrors with 4Runner shells and blinkers. My truck is a base model, so I have no wiring for this, so I'm working on my own harness. At this point I'm waiting for duestch connectors.

Drivers side pic shows the new mirror. Passenger side is the stock.

Putting turn signals mirrors on my 08 is one of my favorite mods.

I'm looking forward to getting the covers color matched. I'm probably going to find some OEM covers as these don't fit well on the Highlander frames. It'll look so much better.

I also recommend the sequential turn signals. I got mine from Amazon. Makes it look even more modern, if that's what you're going for

I will tell this, I am Auxbeam Vender so I have installed quite a few of these for customers and if you don't fill all the spaces with either one of the Labels or a Blank Square they are bright even on the low setting.

If you fill all the squares it really isn't bad if you mount it up high so you can look at it. You just can't leave any of them blank. I have made the suggestion to Auxbeam to make the lower priced 6 and 8 gang switch panels to not only come in Blue and Green but make a Red option since that is easy on the eyes in the dark.
