Good morning CT.

My hood cable and the release lever both broke when I removed the lower panel to run the wiring for the switch panel.

 

My niece finally bought a car. Now she can stop sending me links to Facebook marketplace that never work when I click on them.
It's a 2006 Ford Fusion with 116,000 on it.

Didn't do much riding last year due to family issues but this year is looking better for motorcycle adventures.

Holy crap, that’s a lot of gaskets.

 

and seals and O-rings. Finally started putting the engine back together.

Good morning CT. Permanently mounted the switch panel. Drilled a bigger hole to use a bigger screw and used blue loctite on the main screw. Hopefully it doesn't vibrate loose.

I'm insure. It's been sitting on my lift for almost three weeks because they always have something else for me to do.
Of course I have some missing parts. If they had me start on it when I wanted to. It would be done by now.

This is the first time I've had any Lexus engine apart. I'm usually the one doing electrical and interior work.

 

Received the offer I was waiting for. Accepted, and submitted everything for the background check. Extremely eager to put in my notice.
