Thanks for that post, very educational article link on that page. They really tested the hell out of it.
However, my warranty question still stands for other, legit tunes.

 

A) The only "legit" tune is an ECU flash. Plug-in doodads only work because they lightened your wallet.

B) Nobody is going to definitively answer questions about warranty or emissions because there is no definitive answer. The only definitive answer is that for the most part, the technicians doing the work don't look for ECU checksums (which is the only way to tell that an ECU has been flashed). Therefore, for the vast majority of people, it did not affect warranty or emissions.
