    Afternoon all:

I have experience with roundabouts, all four of them that I have encountered . First one was in Easton Pa that went around a monument and would let you shoot off on different streets, second was in Scotland where I was driving on the opposite side of the road, that one really confused me, one going up to the river to a place where I fish from shore, then the new one when I went for the battery. We did come through one under construction last fall while coming back from the river on a 2nd route we use, Jim navigated that one.
I haven't seen them yet, but they are putting more of them in up in "little New York" in the Poconos due to the massive traffic increase from all the developments, those roads were never meant to handle the amount of traffic that they are now experiencing.

We USED to have that problem, deer still get hit, but the deer herd is way down in our area, and I mean way way down compared to what it once was! :(

I don't mind roundabouts most times you don't have to stop if you watch what's coming and then just merge in and go. Fun in a semi though, once I'm in the whole thing is mine!

I live right near I 94 , I give them the lead, a little flash of the headlights, and they move right along. I’m in no hurry and truck drivers have to put up with so many idiots

I like roundabouts, I had lots of experience with them in Europe and Australia. The right hand drive cars and hiways were a scary experience in the beginning!

Good morning. Defrosting the freezer today and getting a haircut.

I have a traffic circle I drive thru every day near my neighborhood . Drivers have no idea of the right of way . Some drivers don't slow down entering a traffic circle

I wonder what the cops and insurance companies think about them? I know there have been more accidents even though traffic moves faster. Trade-offs...

Maybe in twenty years after people get used to them. I've seen some spectacular accidents, and more fender benders where I see them. Sometimes I think the people selling them to the highway department/state are also doing some salesmanship with the figures they use.
