In the event that you plan it for a weekend where the Mariners are out of town (and I subsequently am in town...good luck) I can arrange for us to meet at the Safeco Field parking garage in Seattle.

I won't be able to do any trails (stock), but it's a distinguishable jumping-off point that everyone should be able to find.

No worries if everyone wants to meet closer to the trail. Just a suggestion.

She doesnt like camping??? uh oh... your going to have to change that. I may bring mine if anyone else brings theirs.

Hmm... Browns camp is about 3.5 hours away from Seattle and about 25 minutes from my house. But if you cant make it this go around then im sure there will be other meets this summer so no worries.

Haha as is mine... but I have to keep the ball and chain happy and not let her know that :D

I'd be interested in checkin out Brown's. I voted for both June dates, as I'm probably having knee surgery soon and will more or less be off my feet for most of May.

Yup with one day left it looks like browns camp sometime the weekend of June 10th-12th is going to be the winner. Im not too familiar with browns camp so hopefully someone else with a little more knowledge of the trails will be coming along and if not then I guess we can just pillage through and see what we find.

As for food and stuff im not sure how everyone wants to do this but I was thinking maybe a potluck sorta thing.... Everyone brings one thing for the group then bring whatever you want for drink. Otherwise we could just all bring our own stuff. What are your thoughts???

last time we went to browns, we all pretty much brought and made or own food. I cooked the most tho last time, made a big breakfast for everyone and shared some stuff the first night as well. I think pretty much just bring what you want, and we can go from their.

TSF is always a bit hard to navigate - keep wishing I could raise money to get street signs put in :p

Rob, I know last time you pretty much did the pancakes from scratch. I've never tried it, but what do you think if we brought the already made stuff, where you just pop the lid and pour directly on the grill? Might save some time, cleanup, and no worry about keeping it cold

i made everything at home before i came. Made all the pancake batter and mixed the eggs and packed them up. I have to say tho, that was a damn fine breakfast. :D

I will prolly do the same thing again, and see who's all hungry.

I have made pancakes from "jiffy" (little blue box of cornbread mix) They are actually pretty damn good if you like cornbread. Just another thought. I can help with whatever is needed... we need to get some kind of game plan set up.

I have lots of maps of the TSf so im not too worried bout getting lost... it will be a good time for sure.

I hope I can make it. That will be exactly one month after my knee surgery, so it may be a little dicey for me to be out romping around in the woods. We'll see how it goes though.

Having an ACL reconstruction on Wednesday. :( I'm tryin to talk a couple of my buddies in coming to the meet to ride shotgun so they can spot and help with recoveries.

p.s., I've never been to a Taco meet -- is it bad form to invite friends who drive Jeeps and or LR Disco's?? You can be honest, you wont hurt anybodys feelings if its supposed to be Tacos only. :)

Ahh well thats no good. Hope its healed enought to come. Deff bring a co-pilot tho... I always bring one who is wheeling educated to help with like you said spotting and such.

As for the meet itself its just a Toyota thing. Now I cant speak for everyone but I dont mind so much if a runner or FJ come since there in the family but a jeep or LR may be pushing it. Not saying RR or LR are bad but funny story... I had to pull a Range Rover out of the snow two days ago up on the road to clear lake.. Who goes snow weeling (3ft deep in some spots) wearing sneakers blue jeans and t-shirts, with a stock height RR and no recovery gear except a 20' open hook tow strap? crazy kids these days haha
