It's an adventure I'll say. 50Ks have given me different experiences from both different races to the same race a different year with different weather. The ones with lots of vert humble you deeply and the flat ones push a different level of endurance on finding (or trying) to just keep running. 50 miler -- I've done only the same one twice (and soon a 3rd time). It's been different weather and differnt parts of me falling apart. Either a food/fueling wall or a wonkey knee you hope gets it shit together.

I dunno about the 100 -- it's going to be a different animal. The night running and the tiredness after 24+ hours -- they say you truly see shit.

I've done 60 in one session so far -- slept and did another 20; it's not the same...but good push I guess.

    Memories popped up

Man, 3 years ago today is when we ran into this little goober at the shelter when we stopped by "just to look".

Now she's knocked out like the rest of the fam.

    That sounds hardcore AF.

Endurance is one thing, but it's a whole mind fuck too it seems at those long distances.

Looks like another sitcom house in Little Rock is on the market. It sure looks familiar.

Instead of a typical open house on Friday night, the realtor is hosting a Happy Hour for interested buyers and the neighborhood.

I run Victoria tires. I like the mazza for my bike. But you would probably like either the martello if you want more aggressive or agarro if you want pedal performance. Plus grey side walls look cool

    nvm they dont have 26.

I use to run a 29 mazza up front and a 27.5 motta out back on my DH bike when i was riding in the rain alot. Now i just run a mazza which is like a better maxxisdhr2. The motta looked like a dirt bike tire

it is a mixed bag. i have way more shop space, but way less privacy. neighborhood is a whole lot busier and crowded but most people keep to themselves. can get almost anything i need without driving more than 15 minutes but i wish it was less chaotic

old place had less space but i felt way more comfortable working on stuff outdoors and was on a first name basis with all of the neighbors, which are things i miss the most
