If it is not too much of an imposition, would you be kind enough to post a pic of the cabinet.

Good morning. Headed to the beach today when my son gets home from work. Son and wife are going to a music festivle and I will be the designated chauffer. We will also be hanging a TV on the wall in my sisters beach house. Coming home on Monday and leaving on Tuesday for New Orleans. Going to be a busy 9 days.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/social securers. We're still getting wet weather here and the grass is loving it -- unfortunately it's too wet to cut! Once it dries out I may have to hook up the bagger to collect it all. Yay. The back is doing better though, so that's a good thing.

PA doesn't tax any retirement income, which is nice. Our pensions and our Social Security are PA tax free.

Taxing Social Security started in 1984 (so says google). I think the idea was to collect the tax only from higher earning individuals/couples. Problem is, they used fixed values for the income thresholds, so now in 2025 a lot of folks are above the line and end up paying some tax on their benefits. I'd be okay with the tax staying in place if they would adjust the income levels upwards to match current reality. Better still, index them so they change with inflation, maybe even tie the increase directly to the annual COLA.

A man went into a Soviet car dealership to purchase a Lada. As part of the procedure, he went from bureaucrat to bureaucrat, each bureaucrat making sure the customer had the money and his paperwork was correctly filled out. He reached the last station. The person behind the desk stamped his paperwork, and said, “Congratulations, Comrade! Your paperwork is complete. Come back in seven years to pick up your new car.” The man replied, “Which day of the week?” The bureaucrat snapped back at him, “You have to wait seven years and you want to know what day of the week??!!” “Yes”, the man said. “The plumber is coming on Tuesday”.

47 years for us and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Don't even need to think about it.

Good morning. Stayed out late bar/restaurant hopping. The beach area had bad thunderstorms yesterday evening and they were back at 4:00 this morning. The weekend is here, so have a great day.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/storm chasers. Hoping that our midwestern contingent survived yesterday's storms; I read that tornados killed at least 16 people! We got quite a bit of rain in a short time but no severe stuff.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Thunderstorms SW of me on Thurs. night spawned at least 1 tornado. No serious injuries that I've heard. They weren't too bad by the time they got here. We lost power for about 2 hours. It was very strange. All of the houses on my block, on my side lost power. Everyone across the street had power, street lights were all on. The block behind me was all dark. Power Co. said 24 customers affected in my town.

Yesterday, we had a couple of small thundershowers roll through...some rain, but no winds.

Hoping everyone else got through OK.

    Afternoon all:

Just got done sharpening the Z turn blades, figure they needed to be a lot sharper for the next mowing since the yard is looking more like a field with all the rain we've been getting. :(

WTH, just saw that you run a much higher risk of Parkinsons if you live within 1-3 mi. of a golf course, so if I develop Parkinsons can I sue the golf course that's about a mile up the road from me!

So I'm confused about the title. Has this been around for more than 60 years? or for just the kids who are not over 70? At my age I'm not sure. :)
