A taped copper fitting in bronze should turn out okay, you can cut it off and tap a socket on there too if needed.

I'm hoping so. Although the mouthbreather that installed that fitting galled the flats with a pipe wrench so no socket of mine will even attempt that. Mr. Ridged pipe wrench will be putting in work

A flat file, impact socket and hammer will get it on there. :D

It might be easier and quicker to cut here (at the red lines), and replace it all. 88A6C052-3B93-4740-9B4D-8AE4660C13A4.jpg

If you seen the hodge podge plumbing coming from the 1" galvanized into the house you'd realize that's a rabbit hole I don't want to go down. It's pretty abhorrent

Goes from 1" galvanized to the check valve, reduced to 3/4" copper, steps back up goes into a 1" brass tee for the pump switch, reduces back into 3/4" into the tank :goingcrazy:

Good morning guys, have a great Friday!

@Delta09 Adam, I hope the plumbing gods are on your side. If not, get the big hammer and torch out!

Yeah there’s a reason the people they are getting them from now charge $60 each.

Boss just called to check on things and I told him I was making a sample. He said how’s that going? I said it sucks. He said will it speed things up to do 60? I said no, it’ll take 60 times as long :smack:

Got this buttoned up yesterday. This frame holds it on the trailer until they take the tank off the side by side and need to put a patient on it.

Have a package that UPS had, was supposed to be here today.

They handed it off to USPS, now it says Monday.

Wonder which Monday it'll be :smash:

I picked this guy/girl out of the middle of the road this morning on my way to work. I am not sure if it was hit or not but a truck with high clearance went over the top of it before I could grab it. Other vehicles went around it. I took it to the local PD and asked for the animal control officer, who had been dispatched to take care of the same bird I had grabbed. The ACO came back to the station, crated the bird and was taking it to a bird rescue group.

I went to bed at 9:00 last night but was awake from 1:00 to 3:30. At least they're keeping me running enough so I can't doze off.
