We are heading to the villa for a while, then SoCal

I have to get out to the Cape. Won’t be for a while though with the treatments. The ocean is calling…

 

How’s the boat repair coming along?

 

Wife is going to retire at the end of the school year. The union contract is up and there’s talk that the town isn’t budging on eliminating family medical insurance after retirement. She’s bummed but may be able to go back part time. So maybe moving to SC might happen sooner rather than later.

Kid also went on an interview today in NJ. If all goes well she might be moving out of the house.

 

It’s ready to be pulled out of the garage. The damage has been fixed. I need to modify the mast to fit the gin pole mast raising system. I picked up the mainsail from the sailmaker last week after having it repaired.

 

I heard there is a BBQ in New York you could go to

 

I try to stay out of NYC. Now if it were Boston, well then…

 

I do wonder what a bbq in Bronx would be like

 

It would have tomato sauce and beans

 

Well, things are about to get real interesting...

My in-laws live in Minnesota. Don't ever remember seeing a Continental Dived sign. There is one in Northern Minnesota that says Continental Divide. When I was a kid and we moved up there it would always bug me. I "knew" where the continental divide was. Not sure why they don't call it the Laurentian Divide instead. Seems like a tourist trap to call all of them continental divide!
