I know for a fact that in 1993 my father in laws 1992 Toyota 4x4 in 4lo (unlocked hubs= 2lo) would bounce the front tires off the ground with a couple well timed throttle blips ; )

I recently installed a 2lo module and shortly after I began having some issues. 2lo mode and all 4x4 modes work fine. However, now even when in 2wd if I drive somewhat slow and just cruise 10-25mph my abs and brake light come on and stay on until I come to a complete stop. After waiting a few seconds if I accelerate the lights will go out with a few seconds of speeding up.

Has anyone else had this problem? It happens in 2hi and 4x4 and turns the traction control mode off when the abs and brake light come on.

I really doubt it has anything to do with the module but you could always unhook it to see.

Really need to see what code(s) you have in the ABS system though to know what to check.

Just disconnect it and drive it a few days..

 

@Grant83 I am definitely up for one of these please! I frequently have to back up my steep, narrow, and curvy driveway with a load, and I am roasting my clutch (2015 v6 stick).
Can you please make another batch of these? I can be reached here and call or text to 215 some blatant non number text <nine hundred> some more text o918 that o is a zero.
This is my first truck and is tied with the best vehicle I've ever owned even after only owning it for 9 months.
I feel like I'm abusing it by riding the clutch a few times per week.

Backing up my driveway hill with my camper is hell on my clutch.

 

I'll even purchase two; we can just put them up for sale on the marketplace. Someone will buy them pretty quickly.

Maybe someone could talk to the original guy and get him to release the design schematics and construction specifications, or maybe sell them for a modest fee. The circuit board layout & parts list isn't very complicated.

A quality small-batch custom electronics house in China could probably produce these for $5-$10 each in quantities of 1,000 units. They could then be sold at retail for $75 to $100 a pop.

@Grant83 @Up2NoGood Gentlemen, would there be a possibility of another batch of 2Lo modules? Or perhaps would you be willing to reveal your schematics, materials, and process for the community? There are several people who are interested in them and some of us are more than willing to purchase a couple of them to make sure you sell out for another batch.
We are all waiting in the 2Lo thread of Marketplace, and are hoping you are able to help us out.
