You could sell your stock tires and / or wheels to re-coupe some of the costs. Thats what I am doing.

I would, but the craptastic steel rims with the plastic covers that SET put on won't net me much on the resale market, methinks. On the plus side, I won't mind beating the shit out of them and then buying sweeter ones when the tires need replacing.

I'd replace them now, but the ball and chain needs maintenance.
Easy does it...that'd be my house, not my wife!

I like the rims. Even the white lettering! I was originally going to go with these.

do the tires bulge out past the rim and provide protection or does it sit even with the rim?

The pictures answer your question. Look closely at the first post (second and third pics).

As for protection, that probably depends on what you are referring to. Curbs in the city or sharp rocks on the trail?

Are you just wanting to protect the wheels from curb rash?

The tires will definitely protect the wheels from scratches. I’m pretty cautious because I’m trying not to scrape the paint off the white letters.

Probably a little less protected than with Tacoma Pro wheels, but better than with the convex Sport or OR wheels (and way better than Ranger Raptor wheels).

I don't quite understand the look (not addressing the axle width) and purposely trying to break the wheel bead, but many like it...1DB65728-10BA-46FF-928A-5DC647CDD204.jpg

Just wondering if the off-set of these wheels has been confirmed as + 47mm..and what is the width? They have the perfect poke, but I doubt I'll be able to find a set of take offs in my neck of the woods. But I might find a set of replicas or a similar design with similar specs.
Not the wheels on the truck above..lol...the tundra BBS.

Dude...I just spent 20m going through the Carista and Toyota settings in the truck. I cannot find how I changed tire size. It is gonna bug the shit out of me. If I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Nice setup I'm looking to do the same wheel but upon my research the hub bore for the trd pro is 95mm and the tacoma is 95.1. Did you have to bore the trd pro rims to make it fit the tacoma .
