That's a bummer. I was referred to them by the guy who tuned my truck a year or so ago.

Any of you high handicap golfers? I starting to get into it and I'm awful since golf is really fu**ing hard. Like 120(shoutout my massive slice on driver/wood swing that im attempting to fix).
I'll be wanting some people to go play with on cheaper courses as I'm gettin better. I refuse to pay 90 bucks for a tee time when I'm still this shit anyway.

Also open to suggestions on where to get affordable lessons because friends who are Very good suggested at least a few once I plateau with youtube teaching myself. Ill be at thunderbird between the 10 and 51 for a bit then moving down closer to my office @ camelbak and 24th.

Rounds get pretty cheap if you play mid afternoon on a 115 degree day

Im about a 14-18 handicap depending on the time of year. It is really hard but gets enjoyable. As for your driver trying putting more pressure on your front foot and slow down your swing speed till youre hitting straight. There is more I can go into that got the slice out of my bag but just keep practicing. I have no idea about the lessons tho. Roughly what I am seeing is 100 bucks a hour is pretty much standard.

I tried a few years ago. Well, when I say "a few" ... :anonymous:

If I was going to try again, lessons with a real person would be step 1. You need the person who can identify your legs bending too little or too much, arms bent or not, etc. $100/hour may seem high until you consider that *ANY* hope of enjoying the time you spend course fees on comes after someone identifies the most outrageous problems first.

Stacked coupons on a new pelican case and got the latest revision (but the 1700 "short" version w/no foam) for only a little bit more than the HF version.
Doesn't look too bad mocked up on the roof, and it fits me in the garage still.
    20250517_135231.jpg

ARB awning is awaiting the brackets for install, still debating driver vs passenger side.

It's tough setting this stuff up because I'm trying to balance practical use / things I have actually experienced and thought that it could work a bit better vs "shit I've seen on the internet that seems nice"... like getting those external molle panels that cover the rear quarter windows. Is it actually going to make a difference getting to a rotopax? Have I ever needed to hang shit off the side of the truck? Will I ever need to?:burp:

Mark is such a solid dude, would recommend lessons from him to anyone.

I’m with you Matt, I’ve only played a few times over the last year due to my back. Hope all is well man!

Well.. The last 3-4 weeks have been a *great* time.

Long story short: I managed to strip 85-90% of my parts off (thanks SO much @XPOTRPR and @prise for drinking garage beers and wrenching in the street while it was 100° out with me. And thank you @PilotBoy352 for coming in clutch with some factory shocks, I owe you at least another 6 pack). Had to pester the insurance FAR too much to get their asses in gear.

    20250512_045149.jpg

    RIP bad guac..

Pulled the trigger on a lightly used taco yesterday.

    20250517_104124.jpg

Already started putting parts on it that I salvaged.
I'm going to have to switch up the screen name I guess.. @XPOTRPR suggested "sour cream" @prise suggested "blanco" @Milota95 said "bad blanco"
And the girlfriend and I were thinking "queso" or "queso blanco"

If your guac has turned white, I would call it the baddest guac. :p

Glad you got so much salvaged off it! AZTW is a great crew, I owe a lot of you guys many more 6 packs and street tacos, cosmically speaking.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
Congrats on the new ride. Always tough to go through, but it truly puts into perspective how vehicles are replaceable, but we are not.

Queso Blanco definitely stays on theme, and makes me think of On the Border or just about any other Americanized "mexican food" chain.

Is it easy to change all 4? Is one or more harder to change than the others? Also, did you buy or rent a specialty tool to do it?
